Where Justice Meets Compassion: Gregory’s Second Chance

Gregory Conley, a Courthouse Ambassador at the Louisville Metro Government’s Hall of Justice, assists visitors navigating the legal system. With 15 years of service, he understands the stress people face and often refers them to the Legal Aid Society for civil legal help. Gregory himself was once a client, struggling with over $50,000 in medical, student loan, and credit card debt. Legal Aid, led by attorney Brian Fields, helped discharge most of his debt, stop a car repossession, and recover garnished wages. Now debt-free, Gregory praises Legal Aid for giving him a fresh start and continues to recommend their services to others. “I’ll keep sending people your way,” said Gregory. “Legal Aid is the place to get help.”
