Legal Aid Society’s intake will be temporarily closed due to a technology upgrade

Beginning at 5 PM on Monday, February 24, Legal Aid Society’s intake will be closed to new applicants. We will reopen at 10 AM on Monday, March 3rd.

Why the Temporary Pause?

For the past two years, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to upgrade to a brand-new case management system. This upgrade will help us serve you better and more efficiently! During the week of February 24, our team will be in full training mode to make sure everything runs smoothly when we go live on March 3. To focus on this transition, we need to pause new intakes just for the week. This means you won’t be able to apply for our services by phone or online during this time.

Already a Client? No Need to Worry!

If you’re already working with us, your legal assistance will continue without any interruptions. If you have questions, feel free to reach out to your attorney directly. We’re still here for you!

Can I Still Visit Your Office?

Yes! Our doors will remain open at all three locations. You’re welcome to stop by and fill out a paper application—just know that we’ll start processing it once our new system is up and running on March 3.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we make this important upgrade. We can’t wait to serve you even better with our new system!

Our new case management system has been made possible through a generous grant by the James Graham Brown Foundation.
